2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made by a consumer on the
website operated by Create my Story (the “Site”).
If you are a business (non-consumer) buyer, different terms may apply and you should contact us directly
for specific conditions.
3. Products
The products offered on the Site are described and presented as accurately as possible.
Personalised creations (for example personalised books, songs, videos, printed products and digital files)
are made to order based on the information and materials you provide.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including applicable VAT, and excluding delivery charges
unless otherwise stated. The price applicable to your order is the one displayed on the Site
at the time you confirm your order.
5. Orders
Orders are placed online through the Site. Before confirming your order, you must check the order summary:
selected products, personalisation details, quantities, delivery address, and chosen delivery and payment
methods.
The contract is formed when Create my Story sends you an order confirmation email.
An invoice is made available in your customer account and/or sent by email.
6. Personalisation and Approval
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided for personalisation,
including spellings of names, messages, options and any images or files you upload.
We are not responsible for errors that result from incorrect information you supply.
Create my Story reserves the right to refuse any personalisation that is unlawful, offensive,
contrary to public policy or morality, or that infringes the rights of third parties
(including copyright, trademark or image rights).
7. Payment
Payment is made securely using the methods offered on the Site at checkout.
If the bank or payment service provider refuses the payment, the order will be cancelled and will not be processed.
8. Delivery
Delivery is made to the address you provide during the ordering process.
Estimated delivery times are shown during checkout. These estimates exclude Sundays and public holidays
and take into account the time needed to create personalised products.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the products are physically delivered to you
or to a person you have designated.
In case of damage in transit, you should notify the carrier and Create my Story as soon as possible,
and within a reasonable time.
9. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period)
9.1 Personalised and Made-to-Order Products
For personalised products and goods made to your specifications, as well as digital downloads provided
immediately after purchase, you do not have a statutory right to cancel once the order has been confirmed
and production or download has started.
9.2 Other (Non-personalised) Products
For non-personalised physical products, if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom,
you generally have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to change your mind and cancel your order.
To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of delivery.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Returned products must be unused,
in their original condition and complete.
We will refund all payments received for the goods (except for any reduction in value caused by unnecessary handling)
within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of sending them back, whichever is earlier.
10. Conformity and Legal Guarantees
10.1 Conformity of Goods
Create my Story is under a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract.
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015,
including that goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
10.2 Defective Goods
If you believe a product is defective or not as described, you should contact us as soon as possible
with details and, if relevant, photos.
Where a defect is confirmed, we may repair or replace the product, or offer a refund in accordance with
your statutory rights.

12. Liability and Force Majeure
Create my Story is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from misuse of the products,
incorrect information provided by you for personalisation, or any event that is beyond our reasonable control
(force majeure), such as strikes, transport disruptions, natural disasters or failures of third-party services.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct and foreseeable losses caused by our proven breach
of contract. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so,
for example liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Intellectual Property and Customer Content
All elements on the Site (including texts, images, graphics, logos, videos and layouts) and all creations
produced by Create my Story are protected by intellectual property rights.
You are not permitted to reproduce, distribute or exploit them without our prior written consent.
By providing content (text, images, photos or other materials) for personalisation,
you confirm that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use that content.

the content you have supplied.
14. Personal Data

For any question about your personal data, you can contact us at:
hello@createmystory.co.uk
15. Archiving and Evidence
For certain orders, the contract may be stored for up to 10 years in compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Electronic records kept by Create my Story (order confirmations, invoices, communications) will be accepted as
evidence in case of dispute, unless you prove they are inaccurate or incomplete.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection
rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence in the UK.
If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of
the part of the United Kingdom where you live (Scotland or Northern Ireland).
17. Changes to these Terms
Create my Story may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how
we operate our services.
The version that applies to your order is the version in force on the date you place your order.
